    This novel is definitely one of my favourites if not my favourite novel for a very good reason. I'm not that good with words but i'll try to explain as best as i can from my experience with this novel. I was never really a big cultivation fan because of my past experience with manhua's before i even started reading novels. But RToC really shattered my bias against cultivation (wuxia) novels. I won't bother explaining how fantastic the fights, lore, character and etc. But i swear that you will NEVER regret reading this masterpiece of a novel. In conclusion, RToC really is just peak fiction. So i implore those who haven't read this a try.

        I've read the Korean wiki even though the Google translation is terrible. 1. Basically, Seo Ran is Seo Hyeol's main body (main soul). All of Seo Hyeol's original emotions and innocence are stored in Seo ran. The story begins when the supervisor of the middle world, the nether ghost, was ordered by the noble of the underworld to investigate something in the head world (I don't know what he was investigating) but because of the strange nature of that world, the supervisor lost all his powers and became a mortal, so he joined the ghost sect. Here begins Seo Hyeol's plan to parasitize him by becoming his child. Finally, Seo Hyeol put her main soul into the supervisor's womb (Seo Ran's mother) but there was a mistake in the plan. I don't know for sure because the supervisor Seo Hyeol's motherly nature instead retained her original emotions and forgot Seo Hyeol's other memories (she only remembered that she was Seo Ran. Nature Seo Hyeol's original is too innocent). 😂😂

      It's a xianxia novel, of course it will have b*llsh*t sounding stuff. But if you get a little philosophical, maybe even nonsensical, everything somehow makes sense Relationship/connections are a huge part of the story. It'd be as if you removed Godzilla from Godzilla movies, even the very mention of the behemoth.

    was really good at the start but it's so hard to read, really confusing storyline and writing and in general not really interesting anymore.. just reading the new release chapters cause i'm hoping it will reach how good the start was
