With a father as strong as the highest heavens themselves, Gravis wasn't required to step into the cold and ruthless world of cultivation.
But when Heaven used him in a scheme to get back at his father, Gravis realized that he needed strength to gain true freedom.
As long as he remained his weak self, he would always remain beneath Heaven’s oppression. Only true power brings true freedom.
To gain strength, Gravis ventured into the lower worlds to start his cultivation under true life and death tempering.
Only a strong will, which had been forged in striving for every resource available, would allow him to reach the peak.
Heaven’s strongest weapon was Lightning of Divine Punishment, and only if he made this weapon his, would he have a chance.
So, to overthrow Heaven,
Lightning Is the Only Way!
Yet, the path to power is painful.
Not everyone reaches the peak.
But Gravis will!
No matter how much pain he feels along the way!

Comments on the novel chapters for the last week.
I guess pill poison is nonexistent in this novel too :/
Am I the only one noticing that the narration is so casual? Like the author doesn’t care? IDK just compare the paragraph structure to something like Shadow Slave or LoTM. It’s just like someone dreaming and writing it down without a proper structure and a way to get readers attention. It’s like “it is what it is this is the story.” It reads like if you ask someone “Hey can you summarize this book for me.” And the reply is how the authors writes like. Idk i hope it gets better in the later chapters. Even Sword God is way better.
Hi! I've first read Kill the Sun and Sword God, and I really liked the character development and the darker side of these novels, and so I wanted to know if this novel is similar to the other two, and if so, in what ways?
It's time to start this. I've postpone it so much that I have no other excuse rn (because I've got no other novels to read tbh)! Fellow readers, if you're like me who cannot decide which novels to read (for f*ck sake!!!), or just bored out of your own d*mn mind... the motto is, "Just read, yap later!". Click a novel, then just straight up tap that Read button. Easy.
Just finished chapter 282 and I’m curious. Can someone tell if Gravis meets old man lighting again?
Anyone knows other novels with the same (or better) quality than the Warmaisach novels? Kinda feel lost now that i've read Lightning is the Only Way and Sword God in a World of Magic (waiting for more chapters of Kill the Sun to start reading it)
Someone should put romance tags on this.
How is it related to sword god
a warmasaich novel hmmmm lets see how this compares to his other novel
I might read this rn, or wait a week
