      Lol, nobody taking your request seriously. Let me be a decent guy for a while and answer you. One of the thing I like in LoTM is, the way author portrays the climb to power is really unique. Unlike other power fantasies, the main character is not enviable at all.

      Well actually you are the 1st person in long time who Said such a thing. I never seen anyone saying lotm is over rated in any platform Well so I guess you are new to webnovels or like mostly action Or think language is complected, if these are the problems Then drop it. Because if I recall correctly 1st 3 volumes are really great, I mean You reached half the way if still not interested then drop it, There are always some exceptions, nothing is absolute. Read shadow slave or tbate or solo leveling you will probably Like it, or tell what novels you like so I can recommend some

        First volume is slow other volumes are all great last few are peak though to me I enjoyed every volume just that the pace for last few seemed like a Speedrun "Hazem" seems to have a problem with lotm dunno what I mean world building and story is unique, power system is the best I've seen , mc is likable, and most importantly to me it's the one with most memorable moments Btw I really wanna speed run ri the previous arc was way to good but I'm not sure if this is as good or not I think this is the famous "zombie arc" volume 4

        Well ye tian mountain f*ck I get chills whenever I remember that arc And that character.. Well that arc is long though longest arc until then but it's also Tops rest of the three because rightious and demonic war in The ye tian mountain is something else, And ri becomes peak after this arc By the way v4 name is The Demon lord rampaging unhindered

      It's a must read and last few volumes are the reasons for glazing although it's actually overall good all round but might not be for you if you still complaining it's similar to my situation in ri rn but ik that af I read it all I will understand the praise my prob is bit different because I have a kind of prob not with story but the mc

      Things start to pick up when he reaches sequence 4 and the story becomes extremely fast paced in a good way. So wait a little more. Though I am feeling like expectations will ruin your read a little, only a little though. I dont like the glazing too, but the novel is separate from the fandom. So read slowly if you actually can, there are not many novels as good as lotm. I feel more and more like you will like Ri more than lotm after completing them if u ever do🧐 Hail Lord Gu Yue Fang Yuan!!!!!

        wow ur teacher recommended it?? ok well firstly, don't expect some sort of brain blowing stuff every chapter. imo read and enjoy the slow chapters, take note of the information and every smallest detail. When the hype and fights come, you'll understand. Fights in vol 1 and vol 1 end ch 210 are extremely pure hype I suggest u persist till 210 at the very least. Lotm gives u a smart and growing mc, diverse characters and extremely shrewd and scary enemies. But don't rush, read at ur own pace ^^ and really, don't force it. If it doesn't fit ur tastes even after 300+ ch ur free to drop it, read and enjoy wtv u like ^^
